For teams and platforms

The same catalogue that powers the free comparison is available to businesses as a licensed data product, delivered through our REST API and our MCP server. What follows is what teams actually ask us for. Access is arranged directly, so every section ends in the same place.

The price API

One request, one product. Ask by manufacturer part number and get the current Canadian price, which retailers have it, and how many we checked. Everything is in CAD, from Canadian retailers, with a link straight to the product page. There is a free anonymous tier with a published daily limit and a documented 429 contract, and the endpoints are described on the API page. Where the public site shows the two cheapest offers, enterprise access returns the full per-retailer offer list for a product in a single call: every Canadian retailer carrying it, with price, condition and stock.

Make your assistant find the best price

We run a Model Context Protocol server alongside the REST API, so an AI assistant can discover the tools, call them and cite Canadian price data directly. If your stack does not speak MCP, it does not need to: the same data is reachable over plain HTTP, and we publish /.well-known/ai-plugin.json and an OpenAPI description so an agent can find its own way in. Details on the MCP page.

MAP monitoring

If you publish a minimum advertised price, the question is who is below it and since when. We hold the per-retailer offer rather than a single lowest number, we flag sale and clearance state separately from the shelf price, and we keep the history behind both, so a breach is a dated observation rather than a screenshot. Coverage is the Canadian retailers we track, and we will tell you exactly which those are for your categories before you commit to anything.

Card issuers and loyalty programs

Price-drop detection on a defined basket, and an attestation you can put in front of a cardholder: this was the lowest of N Canadian retailers on this date. The N matters, and we report it honestly rather than claiming an unqualified cheapest. Where a product carries only one retailer we say so, because a comparison of one is not a comparison.

Employee benefit and member programs

A discount only means something against a real reference. Ours is the manufacturer's own price, not a retailer's struck-through number, so a percentage off is measured against something that does not move when a retailer decides to run a sale. Useful if you operate a perks catalogue and need the savings claim to survive scrutiny.

Pricing intelligence

Complete price history for trend and elasticity work. Availability transitions, so you can see exactly when a model went out of stock, came back, or was delisted. Promotion frequency and the spread between the cheapest and dearest offer on the same product. Structured fulfilment data for every retailer we track, meaning delivery scope, shipping terms and returns terms. When you need a price we do not already hold, on-demand pricing fetches a fresh quote at request time, and bulk delivery hands you the dataset on a schedule rather than one product at a time.

How access works

Keys are issued manually, by a person, after a conversation about what you need and how much of it. There is no self-serve signup and no billing integration, and we would rather say that plainly than build a checkout for a product that is still scoped per customer. Start at the contact form and tell us the categories and the retailers you care about.

One thing worth knowing first

We publish a price only when we can bind it to a specific model by its manufacturer part number or barcode. If we cannot, we leave it out rather than guess. That is why our counts are smaller than a catalogue built on name matching, and it is the reason the data is worth licensing.
